Frequently asked questions
How do I find a Minecraft player's UUID?
Search the player's Java username above. BlockLookup resolves it to their current UUID, in dashed and undashed form, alongside their skin, cape and name history.
Can I see a player's previous usernames?
Yes. Each profile lists the account's name history with the date each name was adopted, sourced from crafty.gg and laby.net and enriched by our own observations over time.
How do I download a Minecraft skin?
Open any profile and use the download link on the Current Skin card. It serves the original 64×64 texture PNG straight from Mojang's texture servers.
Does BlockLookup work with Bedrock accounts?
No, Java Edition only. Those are the accounts that expose public skins, capes and UUIDs through Mojang's API.
Is BlockLookup affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft?
No. It's an independent, unofficial tool, not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
